The first step of any workout is to make time! Exercise requires lot of patienceto go ahead with and without a time set in your routine you will easily forget. The time you devote need to be atleast one hour a day but not everyone can spend that amount of time on workout it is also a good choice to workout for 2-3 hours a week. If a time is fixed it is easier to get on with the workout and maintain your focus.

Now that you have set a time for exercise, you have to decide where you feel comfortable working out it can be home, gym or also a park, once you have determined where you want to train you can now develop an exercise routine based on the place.

What Exercises to do?

Now you need to make sure that your exercise routine is not complicated find one and stick to it. ‘Keeping it simple’ is the mantra you need to follow.

Some exercises you can start with are:

Quads: squats, lunges, one-legged squats, box jumps.

Butt and hamstrings: Deadlifts, hip raises straight leg deadlifts, good mornings, step-ups.

Core: Plank, side plank, exercise ball crunches, mountain climbers, jumping knee tucks, hanging leg raises.

Push: Overhead press, bench press, incline dumbbell press, push-ups, dips

Pull: Chin-ups, Pull-ups, Body-weight rows, dumbbell rows.


Pick one exercise from each category and start working out. The exercises mentioned above will make sure that you move every muscle in your body. Later, you can start building your exercise by adding up more to your regime.

Add Some Variety

Doing the exact same routine the whole day will not spark any interest in your workout, try mixing things up. One method is you can do a different set of exercise every day as it will improve your muscle strength work your whole body.

Take Rest

One thing that you need to understand that muscles are not made in the gym, you break muscles in the gym. It is during the resting phase that your muscle rebuilt itself making it stronger than before.
